Grass Roots and Public Policy Strategy
Sometimes, persuasion is effective in appealing directly to decision makers.
Other times, a clients’ interests are best served by demonstrating to decision makers how those they represent feel about an issue – and the intensity of those feelings.
Advocacy supported well by the tactics that reach, educate, and motivate a larger public, enhances the effort to persuade by underscoring group and or public sentiment on important issues.
Strategic thinking, planning, and design, provide the framework on which tactics are developed, sequenced, and executed. Tactics must be part of a whole and serve a plan for their potential to be realized.
Wayne Smith has either designed and executed or been partner to numerous successful grass roots efforts.
